GIRLS GOLF

When: Final round at 8 a.m. today.

Where: Warner Springs Ranch (par-72).

Individual: Carlsbad junior Rachel Morris, winner of the past two section titles, grabbed the first-round lead with a 70 on Tuesday at Warner Springs Ranch. One stroke behind Morris is Poway's Brittany Mai, followed by Joyce Kim of Cathedral Catholic and Danielle Frasier of La Costa Canyon at 72.

Team: Advancing to today's final round are Poway (379), La Costa Canyon (401), Torrey Pines (406), Francis Parker (406), Cathedral Catholic (416) and Bishop's (418). Torrey Pines is the defending champion.
