OCEANSIDE – A reception will be held at 10 a.m. today to introduce Oceanside City Council candidate Chuck Lowery to seniors in the Peacock Hills area of Oceanside.

However, hostess Anne Christian said the reception is open to all Oceanside residents who want to meet the candidate. The address is 4769 Westridge Drive.

Lowery, a baker, is one of eight candidates for two council seats.
