SAN DIEGO: An 11-month-old girl died Tuesday from injuries she suffered three days earlier when a television set fell on her at her Oak Park home, authorities said.

Sydney Michelle Cloud was playing with siblings when the set fell on her at their home on Peppergrass Drive on Saturday, the county Medical Examiner's Office said yesterday.

Sydney was taken to a hospital, where she died about 1:15 p.m. Tuesday. A similar accident Tuesday took the life of 1-year-old Bronte Michelle Smith in Sorrento Valley. The Medical Examiner's Office said Bronte was playing with a sibling at her grandmother's home when a TV fell on her. –P.R.
